Barton Mawer

- joined Fitzgerald Racing and Carrera Cup in 2008 as a rookie.
His previous experience comes from racing Formula Ford and Formula Three and has had great results in those categories both in Australia and overseas.

Barton survived a tough introduction to Carrera Cup in 2008 suffering from incidents that in the main were not of his doing including losing his main sponsor, but thanks to his other sponsor “Kelly Services” and his partners he prevailed to finish 2nd in the rookie standings and 10th outright in his first year.

 

Funding will have a lot to do with continuing in 2009.
