Peter Fitzgerald is one of Australian motorsport's best-known and
most-successful names.

With a career founded in 1977 Peter has made production car racing
his domain. With strict controls on allowable modifications to vehicles,
driver skill often contributes more to results than the size of a team's budget.

Since retiring from driving in the Carrera Cup, Peter now puts all of
his focus in the Fitzgerald Racing Team by not only managing the team cars
for each race but also giving the team and its sponsors as much
support as possible.

 

 

The 2008 Carrera Cup Season has seen spectacular results from Fitzgerald Racing's

three main drivers Craig Baird, David Russell and Barton Mawer, with all three finishing

the year ranked in the top 10.
